Örnsköldsviks kommun is now recruiting two dedicated leisure consultants! The positions include one permanent employment starting by agreement and one temporary position starting by agreement until September 5, 2027. You meet young people where they are—at the leisure center, in public spaces, and through mobile outreach activities. The role is flexible, independent, and developmental with great opportunity to influence the content of your work. Working hours vary and may occasionally change; the position includes approximately 3 evenings per week and occasional weekend work may occur. In this work, you will: • Build trusting relationships with young people and be a reliable adult support. • Work independently with significant personal responsibility for planning, implementation, and follow-up of your work, while also collaborating with your colleagues. • Take own initiatives and contribute new ideas and working methods together with colleagues and other collaboration partners. • Plan, implement, and lead activities, events, and projects together with young people. • Encourage young people's engagement and participation and support them in realizing their own ideas. • Actively contribute to the development of mobile leisure activities and see opportunities in the role as a mobile leisure leader and leader in open activities. • Lead or collaborate with colleagues and partners to drive projects within the organization from idea to implementation. • Collaborate with other activities, authorities, and actors, particularly within crime prevention work and mental health. • Take responsibility for projects within the organization. Qualifications We are looking for someone with education as a leisure leader, social pedagogue, or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. A driver's license, category B, and access to your own car are requirements. It is advantageous if you have experience working with young people or youth activities and if you have worked with a norm-aware and inclusive approach. As a person, you are confident, have a genuine interest in young people's leisure time, and great understanding for people's different circumstances and backgrounds. You are creative with an ability to create engagement among young people and support their participation and influence. You are a problem-solver and a good team player who can also take responsibility and work independently with good collaboration skills and a structured work style. It is an advantage if you are multilingual, as we work with a diverse target group. Upon possible employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented to the employer. For some positions, an extract from the Police's suspicion and criminal register is required. We would like to see language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sami varieties, as Örnsköldsviks kommun is part of both the Finnish and Sami administration areas. In our municipality, a number of positions are classified in the security class, so a security clearance may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
