ahead Strängnäs is growing and is now looking for a hairdresser who wants to be part of our continued development.

Our client base is expanding and we want to strengthen the salon to create better capacity, availability, and balance in our operations.
About the Position
The position starts as a part-time employment, with the goal of developing into full-time from April 2027, ahead of our peak season. If operations and occupancy develop faster, there is an opportunity to discuss an earlier increase in working hours.
We apply a six-month probationary period.
The work includes standard hairdressing services such as cutting, coloring, and treatments, as well as customer service, consultation, and product sales.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're looking for someone who is trained as a hairdresser and wants to continue developing in your profession. You are confident in client interactions and prioritize quality and customer experience.
For this position, we require that you:
are a trained hairdresser,
speak and understand Swedish fluently so you can independently conduct consultations, customer dialogue, and provide advice,
have a genuine interest in the hairdressing profession and craft,
are service-oriented and enjoy building long-term customer relationships,
take responsibility for your own booking and want to develop a well-filled client list,
want to continue developing your skills,
thrive in a small business where people help each other and contribute to the whole.
An existing client base is a merit but not a requirement. For us, the right person, professional competence, customer service, and the desire to develop are more important.
What Do We Offer?

fixed salary by agreement,
5% occupational pension on fixed salary,
7% commission on your own sales of hair care and hairdressing products,
performance-based bonus tied to your own treatment revenue,

Since the business was taken over in April 2025, we have worked on developing a clearer identity and customer experience. Through ahead Signature Experience, we develop both the traditional salon visit and the small details that make the customer feel welcome, seen, and cared for.

Terms of Employment
Employment Type: Probationary period of 6 months, with the intent to continue in ongoing employment
