About the assignment
We are now recruiting both qualified and unqualified preschool teachers for positions in preschool class. As a substitute preschool teacher, you work in various programs throughout Burlövs Municipality. You replace regular staff primarily for acute needs and are booked with short notice. Substitute assignments vary in length from single days to longer assignments. You choose which days of the week you want to work, and we match you with assignments that fit your availability and qualifications.
Your responsibilities
As a substitute in preschool class, the work is varied and involves typical preschool teacher duties, such as:
Support regular staff in educational activities
Plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on preschool class core content and curriculum objectives
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Conduct activities with children according to a plan
Collaborate with recreation staff and other colleagues
Follow operational procedures, governing documents, and applicable legislation
Your qualifications
We recruit both qualified and unqualified preschool teacher substitutes
If you are a qualified preschool teacher, we expect you to have a degree from a preschool teacher program
If you are an unqualified preschool teacher, we prefer that you have pedagogical education, relevant subject/professional knowledge, and/or documented experience working in preschool or school
Good collaboration skills and enjoy working in different teams
Can meet children with different needs and conditions in a safe and respectful manner
Good ability to understand and express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Good digital competence
Responsible, flexible, and confident in your professional role
Follow the laws, regulations, and governing documents relevant to the work
Maintain a professional and respectful approach to children, guardians, and colleagues
Available for work at least 2 weekdays per week
Able to be booked for assignments the same morning
Comfortable with a commute of up to one hour to work
