Preschool Teacher at Skogsgläntan

We are now recruiting a preschool teacher for Skogsgläntan! This position is a fixed-term employment at 50% with a start date by agreement through December 31, 2026. Responsibilities Your task will be to lead and drive the educational work at the preschool together with other educators based on the curriculum and other governing documents. As a preschool teacher, you will have an important role in the preschool's daily activities where you, with a conscious approach, enable children to discover and develop their abilities in a comprehensive way. An important part of the work is to ensure that all children are seen and feel that they have a natural place at the preschool. You are responsible for providing children with a learning, challenging, meaningful, creative and exciting play and learning environment. Together with your colleagues, you maintain an ongoing pedagogical dialogue with a desire to change, deepen and develop. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a preschool teacher and therefore eligible for licensure. We would appreciate if you have previous experience working with children groups. You have a positive attitude and interest in developing work methods as well as sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues. Please attach a CV and personal letter with your application. For some positions, certificates from the police suspicion and criminal record register are required. We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or one of the Sami varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both the Finnish and Sami administration areas. In our municipality, a number of positions are placed in security classification, so security clearance may be conducted. These positions may require Swedish citizenship.
