As a preschool teacher in Gällivare municipality, we can offer you meaningful and varied work with good development opportunities. In Gällivare municipality, there are a total of 14 preschools both in the central town and throughout our rural villages. We actively work to promote children's learning through language development, nature experiences, and cultural awareness. Our preschools are linguistically and culturally diverse and offer a rich and varied learning environment that is adapted to the children's needs and interests.

Work Responsibilities
As a preschool teacher with us, your main work responsibilities will be:
Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction that promotes children's development toward the curriculum's goals.
Support each child in their individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child's learning.
Participate in the organization's development work and contribute to realizing our shared vision.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is educated and licensed as a preschool teacher, and we also welcome applications from those who have started or are soon finishing preschool teacher training. As a preschool teacher, you should be responsible and have clear leadership in the child group, you have an easy time building good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovative thinking, and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we highly value in our work; we place great importance on personal suitability.
An extract from the Police's criminal record register, which you apply for at Polisen.se, is a requirement. The certificate must be presented before employment.
Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish according to the national minority language law. Knowledge of any of these languages is a merit in applications for employment in Gällivare municipality.
