In a pilot project within the Knowledge Administration, we will increase staff levels at two preschools to examine how this can impact health, work environment, staffing, quality, and provide more time for the children. The pilot project runs for 2 years and applies to Fäbogårdens Förskola and Jernvallens Förskola. Because of this, we are now recruiting 4 preschool teachers for Fäbogården and 2 preschool teachers for Jernvallens Förskola for project employment over 2 years. Fäbogårdens Förskola is located in Vallhov next to the school with good public transportation. We have proximity to forest and nature that we use in our teaching. Fäbogårdens Förskola has 4 departments, 2 for the youngest children and 2 for children ages 3-5. Jernvallens Förskola is located adjacent to Jernvallsskolan and consists of three departments. Two departments with older children and one department with younger children. The preschool has spacious and fresh facilities that inspire play, learning, and creativity. We have our own on-site kitchen where our cook prepares the meals. 6 position(s). JOB DUTIES Your role as a preschool teacher at Fäbogården and Jernvallen involves leading instruction and pedagogical work based on the curriculum. The work is based on children's interests and curiosity and translates them into goal-directed processes where learning is in focus. We work extensively with children's language development and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Pedagogical documentation and reflection are a natural part of everyday work to ensure quality. To create good conditions for your work, we offer free pedagogical meals, free outdoor work clothes, and your own work computer, which allows you to fully focus on the pedagogical mission. At Fäbogårdens Förskola, there is also the opportunity to work as a preschool teacher with the role of work team leader. As a work team leader, you drive pedagogical development at the preschool based on a jointly formulated mission in consultation with the assistant rector. You contribute by: • Planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the curriculum • Developing learning environments that inspire and challenge children's curiosity • Documenting and analyzing each child's development as part of quality work • Integrating everyday activities and spontaneous events into instruction • Creating good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues We make each other better by: • Developing instruction with scientific basis and proven experience • Being present and engaged in children's everyday lives • Continuously developing our approach and trying new methods • Maintaining a good work climate and respectful treatment QUALIFICATIONS As a preschool teacher, you create safe and inspiring environments where children can explore and develop. You adapt activities to their different needs and build close relationships with both children and guardians. The position requires: • Preschool teacher certification • Good knowledge of preschool governing documents • Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have experience in language development work and knowledge of pedagogical documentation and digital tools. To be eligible for the work team leader role at Fäbogården, good leadership skills are also required.
