Almgården preschool is located in the Fridhem district and is distributed across four homes. The preschool is inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy and approach, where listening, documentation, and reflection are central elements. Diversity is seen as an important asset.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day. We are looking for a dedicated preschool teacher who, with engagement and warmth, wants to contribute to children's wellbeing.
Your responsibilities include:
• You and your colleagues in the work team have primary responsibility for education at the preschool.
• You plan and lead teaching both individually and in collaboration with colleagues.
• You document and evaluate the instruction.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• A degree from a preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with authorization to teach in preschool and preschool class. Or ongoing studies in the preschool teacher program, with graduation in January 2027.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with the preschool curriculum.
• Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
It is meritious if you have:
• Experience with AAC and/or TAKK.
• Experience with children with special needs.
To succeed in the role as a preschool teacher, you have:
• The ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to best achieve results.
• An unpretentious approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians.
• The ability to lead and motivate children and help them thrive and feel good.
• You are organized and plan your work well. You are also good at creating open dialogue and adapt your language based on the current situation. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to help children feel a sense of belonging and inclusion at the preschool.
• You are communicative and engaged and have the ability to create good, secure relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.
As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you present an extract from the criminal record register for work within the school system. You can order the criminal record register on the police website.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-02 or by agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.
