Our preschool Storsjöodjuret is located with a view over Storsjön in Hallen. Hallen is located between Åre and Östersund; via ice road/car ferry it is 4 mil to Östersund and 6 mil to Åre. The preschool has two departments. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a preschool teacher with us, you have a central role in leading and developing pedagogical work in accordance with the preschool curriculum and the mission of the School Act. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and evaluating education so that each child is given the best possible conditions for development and learning. The assignment includes: • Lead pedagogical work together with the team based on the curriculum's goals and intentions. • Create a safe, accessible, and stimulating learning environment where children's curiosity, play, development, and learning are central. • Ensure teaching and education, and work purposefully to promote each child's learning, development, and well-being. • Document, analyze, and develop operations through systematic quality work. • Observe, follow up, and make visible children's learning processes and the quality of education. • Collaborate with guardians to create good conditions for children's development and learning. • Contribute to an inclusive approach where all children are met with respect and given the opportunity to develop based on their conditions. • Collaborate with colleagues, special education functions, and other professions to create equivalent education for all children. • Actively contribute to the development of the preschool's operations and pedagogical quality. We are looking for you who are engaged, present, and driven in your pedagogical leadership, and who sees the value of working together with children, colleagues, and guardians to create a preschool where each child has the opportunity to succeed and develop. QUALIFICATIONS • You are a certified preschool teacher or have applied for certification as a preschool teacher. • Good knowledge of the preschool curriculum, the School Act, and systematic quality work. • Extract from the criminal record register. • A valid extract from the criminal record register must be presented before employment is established. • Ability to lead pedagogical processes and work developmentally together with colleagues. You work according to a clear process, organize and plan your work well, complete what you start, and meet deadlines. You take active initiative in social settings, step forward, and easily create new relationships. You have good collaboration skills and professional conduct in interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite, start date: 2026-10-31 or by agreement.
