You will also be responsible for biological samples sent to various laboratories and work with certain immunological analyses. Your qualifications We are looking for someone with an academic degree in an area relevant to the position. We want you to have: programming and data analysis skills in R and Python experience with analysis of high-dimensional proteomics data generated with the Olink Explore platform experience working with large epidemiological cohorts, particularly ABIS (All Children in Southeast Sweden), including participant follow-up and management of biological samples (blood, serum, stool, urine, saliva, etc) coordination of large-scale longitudinal follow-up studies and collaboration with external laboratories and research partners practical experience with immunological, biochemical and molecular biological methods, including ELISA, Luminex/MAGPIX, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, flow cytometry, cell culture and other relevant laboratory techniques. It is meritorious if you have: a strong ability to analyze and interpret large-scale, high-dimensional biomedical datasets, with practical knowledge of machine learning methods experience with biomarker analysis and interpretation of relationships between proteins and diseases associated with autoimmune diseases, particularly type 1 diabetes, as well as anxiety and depression experience using Microsoft Azure platforms experience developing data management plans The position requires very good proficiency in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. As a person, you are flexible and thorough. You have an interest in helping others and are accommodating in your interactions. Furthermore, you have good communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The research group works with ABIS, primarily regarding Type 1 diabetes but also other immune-mediated diseases. About the position The position is a fixed-term full-time employment for approximately one year. Start date by agreement. The position includes on-call duties for freezers associated with the research group.
