Parish Musician

St. Jacob's Parish is seeking a parish musician/music director. We are a former Methodist congregation that has belonged to the Equmenia Church since 2011. The church is located in the heart of Gothenburg. We have a focus on worship life and music is important here. We have a beautiful grand piano, a newly renovated and fine-sounding organ, and a small but enthusiastic choir. We have also worked with musical projects for young people. We are looking for a musician who plays piano for congregational singing and soloists, and preferably also organ, who leads the parish's choir and participates in the work team's planning of the parish's activities. You have musical education and enjoy working with various forms of worship music. It is a requirement that you play piano, it is a plus if you also play another instrument, and it is a merit if you play organ. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
