Your role As a parish priest, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and holding together the parish's activities based on the Church of Sweden's fundamental mission: to celebrate worship, conduct education, and practice diaconal work and mission. You exercise pastoral and theological leadership and create conditions for the parish to grow and develop based on local needs and opportunities. The role includes: leading and inspiring employees and volunteer workers working closely with the parish council responsibility for activities, budget, and planning creating direction in the parish's development work contributing to the pastorate's joint leadership and development As a parish priest, you are part of the Malmö pastorate's management group together with the vicar and the pastorate's other parish priests. Who are you? You are ordained as a minister according to the Church of Sweden's order. We believe you are a confident and present leader who builds trust and helps people grow. You are responsive and clear, while also having the courage to make decisions and lead through change. You see the value in collaboration and shared responsibility, but can also formulate visions and create direction when the future needs to be shaped.
