Skållegården serves children and adolescents ages 12-16. The target group consists of girls and boys who may be in inappropriate environments and exhibit norm-breaking behavior, often combined with an NPF diagnosis, which can manifest as low impulse control, challenging behaviors, isolation, social skills deficits, relationship problems, or high school absenteeism.
Skållegården is located in a quiet rural area with a large garden for outdoor activities. The operation is structured so that each child and adolescent has their own individually adapted schedule. We strive to be an operation that provides that extra something, with a caring presence and where we create predictability and security in the children's/young person's daily life.
The goal of treatment at Skållegården is to create conditions for positive development in mental and physical well-being. The operation's aim is to create a holistic balanced situation for the child/young person where aspects of life such as school, leisure, and social relationships are included.
Methods and approaches in the operation:
The operation is based on CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and clarifying pedagogy.
Other methods and approaches in the operation are: MI (motivational interviewing and motivational conversations for change), Crisis and trauma response, AAC (alternative and augmentative communication), LAB (low-arousal approach).
About the position
Skållegården HVB is seeking a confident and engaged manager on a full-time basis. You have overall responsibility as manager for the operation, staff, and clients. You work closely with the operation's coordinator to ensure quality, structure, and development.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the operation in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
Staff responsibility: supervision, scheduling, recruitment, and competency development.
Collaboration with the coordinator regarding daily operations.
Ensure documentation, coordination of care services, and good contacts with referring municipalities and other stakeholders.
Financial responsibility and systematic quality work.
Qualifications
Social worker degree, social pedagogue, or behavioral scientist, or other relevant higher education according to IVO requirements.
Experience working in HVB or similar operations.
Documented management experience.
Good knowledge of the Social Services Act and HVB operation regulations.
Structured, solution-focused, and with good collaboration skills.
Driver's license category B.
Meritorious
Further education in leadership or treatment methodology.
Experience working with adolescents in vulnerable life situations.
