Job Description
We are seeking a technically skilled person who wants to work with vehicle electrical systems and electrical installations in a varied workshop environment. In this role, you will work with everything from wiring and assembly to troubleshooting and functional testing.
You will become part of a team where electricians, mechanics, and technicians work together to rebuild and equip various types of vehicles. The work requires meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of how electrical systems function in practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assembly and wiring of electrical equipment in vehicles
- Installation and modification of 12- and 24-volt systems
- Troubleshooting of cabling, components, and electrical functions
- Diagnosis and repair of electrical faults
- Read and understand wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical documentation
- Install items such as work lighting, sensors, transmitters, and control equipment
- Perform measurements, inspections, and tests following installation
- Adapt electrical solutions according to the vehicle's construction and application
- Participate in vehicle rebuilds and custom modifications
- Work closely with other skilled trades in the workshop
Quality of work is important, and you are expected to carefully inspect your installations before the vehicle is passed on.

Work Hours: Weekdays, daytime

Your Profile
To thrive and succeed in this role, we hope you have a technical background and practical experience with electrical systems in vehicles. You work methodically and are committed to ensuring installations and troubleshooting are performed correctly.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Practical experience with vehicle electrical systems, particularly 12V and 24V systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
- Experience installing, connecting, and troubleshooting electrical equipment
- A systematic and quality-conscious work approach
- Education in electrical work or vehicles, or equivalent competence developed through professional experience
Desirable:
- Class C driving license (heavy truck)
- Class B driving license and experience with manual transmission vehicles
- Valid forklift certificate
- Previous work with electrical systems on trucks, construction vehicles, machinery, or other heavy work vehicles
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and control, sensor, and transmitter systems
