We are now hiring a practical, service-oriented, and committed Property Caretaker for our team in Kungälv! In this role, you will work closely with our tenants and, together with your team, ensure that our residential areas function safely, comfortably, and are well-maintained.
About the Role
As a Property Caretaker, you hold a key position in our residential areas and are one of Förbo's most important contacts for our tenants. You are responsible for your own residential area where you work closely with tenants, colleagues, and contractors with the goal of creating safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environments. Through professional conduct, excellent service, and strong relationships, you contribute to our tenants feeling well cared for and satisfied with their homes.
The role is varied and gives you great opportunity to take personal responsibility for both the daily operations and development of your area. Your main responsibilities are to:
Manage the daily operations of your residential area.
Be an accessible contact person for tenants and build long-term relationships.
Maintain ongoing contact with contractors and follow up on completed work.
Perform service, repairs, and maintenance in our tenants' homes.
Contribute to efficient, sustainable, and business-minded property management.
Participate in the team's operational planning and development work.
Collaborate with colleagues, tenants, and contractors to develop areas where people want to live and enjoy their homes.
You will be based at our area office in Ytterby and work in our residential areas in Kungälv municipality.
Your Profile
We believe you have experience working as a building technician, property custodian, tradesperson, or equivalent background. You thrive in a role that combines practical work with extensive contact with people. For you, excellent service is a given, and you are motivated by creating positive customer experiences and contributing to satisfied tenants.
To succeed in this role, you need:
Experience working with tenants and property-related service
Good understanding of daily property management and a business-minded approach
B-category driver's license (required)
Good computer skills
As a person, you are committed, responsible, and solution-oriented. You enjoy building relationships and have an easy time establishing trust with tenants, colleagues, and contractors alike. The role requires you to be self-directed, flexible, and to see what needs to be done, while also contributing to the team's common goals of safe residential areas and high customer satisfaction.
Other Information
This is a full-time position, permanent, and we apply a probationary period. You will be based at our area office in Ytterby.
