Would you like to work extra in a job where your efforts really make a difference? We are now seeking an hourly personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås, surrounded by animals and nature.
A driver's license and access to a car are required since the residence is outside public transportation. Driving is part of the job.
About the Assignment
The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support with his daily living. On weekdays, he attends a day activity program from 09:00–15:00, and afterward, he enjoys participating in activities or cooking – a major interest.
Weekends are often quieter and are often spent outdoors with walks or coffee breaks.
Who Are We Looking For?
You are confident, responsible, and able to work independently. We would like you to be active, organized, and enjoy planning and carrying out activities.
Experience with autism and epilepsy is a merit but not required. The most important thing is that you can create a sense of security, have a calm approach, can work with clear routines, and be structured.
We are looking for someone who is committed and wants to build a good relationship while contributing to a stable and meaningful daily life.
About the Position
Working hours vary, but weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or 24-hour shifts.
The work involves primarily evening and night shifts with periods of waiting time. In the morning, the man uses a transport service to get to his day activity program.
We would appreciate it if you are flexible and can work extra shifts when needed.
