Right now we are looking for several accounting economists at Statens servicecenter in Stockholm to strengthen the team during an intensive and important year-end closing period. Employment Type: Temporary Extent: Opportunity for both part-time and full-time, 50-100% Location: Stockholm, Sundbyberg Start: Preliminary start November 1 Assignment Duration: 4 months, with possibility of extension About the Assignment Statens servicecenter is seeking accounting consultants to strengthen operations during the intensive year-end closing period. The assignment involves contributing qualified accounting work and support in connection with year-end closing for a large number of government agencies. We are seeking several consultants, approximately 5–10 people in total, with relevant experience and competence in accounting. You will become part of the Service Delivery Economics and Consulting Services department and work in an operation with great social responsibility. As a consultant you will have the opportunity to contribute to efficient and quality-assured financial administration within Swedish government administration. The assignment suits you who thrive in a dynamic environment, have a meticulous work approach, and want to contribute your expertise during an important and intensive period. We are looking for someone who has higher education in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of professional experience from similar work. Alternatively, upper secondary education or equivalent education in the relevant field and five (5) years of professional experience as an accounting economist good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent good knowledge of common accounting systems (for example Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.) experience with government accounting good knowledge and experience in preparing year-end closing accounts, primarily from a government agency ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing ApplicationSince selection is ongoing, the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
