Job Duties An ongoing construction project with approximately 150-200 transports per day requires careful coordination of both incoming and outgoing traffic. We are now seeking 1 traffic control officer for the project located in Järfälla. The assignment starts soon, so it is important that you are available to start within 1-2 weeks. The work involves great responsibility for safety, order, and flow in the area. You will work daytime hours, alternating weeks starting at 6:00 and 9:00, full-time schedule. Job Duties • Traffic regulation on single-lane road in close coordination with transports • Manage time-controlled passage of vehicles according to given schedules • Control of traffic lights via remote control in constant dialogue with other officers and machine operators • Handling of two-way radio and ongoing communication within the work team • Authorization check of vehicles and the right to deny unauthorized access • Daily contact with drivers – sometimes involving discussions, which requires calm, clarity, and some authority • Cooperation with responsible logistics coordinator Placement: Northern Stockholm Work Hours: Daytime between earliest 6:00 and latest 18:00.
