Announces an opening for a
PHYSIOTHERAPIST POSITION
For outpatient work for a fixed term starting November 1, 2026
Workload: 1 (one) workload for outpatient services, with piecework compensation (45% of the value of services provided in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement).
Monthly salary: from EUR 2000.00 to EUR 2500.00 (piecework compensation, seniority bonus).
Location: Stadiona iela 1, Jēkabpils, Jēkabpils novads, LV-5201
Requirements for candidates:
1. Professional bachelor's degree in healthcare with a Physiotherapist qualification;
2. Registration in the Healthcare Professionals Register;
3. Specialty certificate will be considered an advantage;
4. Knowledge of regulations governing the field;
5. State language proficiency at the highest level;
6. Ability to use Microsoft Office software and other programs in a Windows environment at an experienced user level, as well as ability to work with office equipment, communication devices, smart devices, software required for job duties, information systems and databases.
Main job responsibilities:
1. Assess the patient's functional status;
2. Conduct physiotherapy evaluation, identifying the patient's functional limitations and physiotherapy needs;
3. Develop a physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plan;
4. Perform physiotherapy procedures and sessions using appropriate therapeutic methods;
5. Provide patients with consultations and recommendations regarding physical activities, exercises, ergonomics, proper movement and self-care;
6. Train patients to perform exercises independently and use appropriate aids, as well as explain their safe use;
7. Evaluate physiotherapy results and the dynamics of the patient's functional status, modifying the physiotherapy plan if necessary;
8. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, rehabilitation specialists and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care, ensuring multidisciplinary patient care;
9. Document patient examination results, prescribed therapy, procedures performed and treatment outcomes in accordance with applicable regulations and healthcare facility requirements;
10. Comply with healthcare, patient safety, occupational health, epidemiological safety and personal data protection requirements;
11. Ensure proper and safe use of medical devices and equipment in the physiotherapy office and workplace;
12. Advance professional knowledge and competence.
