The State Social Care Center "Zemgale" is the largest provider of long-term state social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia! WE ARE HIRING a certified PHYSIOTHERAPIST at the "Iecava" branch for an indefinite period at 0.25 full-time equivalent! Requirements for candidates: • appropriate higher education; • registered in the Register of Medical Practitioners and Medical Support Persons, and authorized to practice the profession; • certification in the specialty; • precision in performing work duties; • excellent communication and cooperation skills, ability to communicate with people in easily understandable language; • high sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and as part of a team; • valid electronic signature. We offer: • employment for an indefinite period; • social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations; • stable salary - 412.50 - 450.00 EURO (gross) for 0.25 full-time equivalent, during trial period up to 415.00 EURO (gross) depending on experience and professional skills; • 10% monthly allowance for work related to special risk; • special allowance for medical practitioners based on work experience up to 8% of the established monthly salary (certificates of work experience from previous employers must be submitted); • good working conditions; • normal reduced working hours 8.75h per week; • health insurance after 3 months of service; • additional leave for special risk (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual evaluation (from 4 - 10 working days per year). Duties: • assess the client's health and functional status, determine the client's functional abilities and possibilities for their improvement or maintenance; • perform client positioning, position changes, improve or maintain joint mobility and stability, restore or maintain muscle function and balance, correct or maintain posture and gait, and provide training in daily activities; • ensure the necessary selection of aids and provide training on their correct use; • apply soft tissue techniques (massage, etc.); • carry out purposeful therapy and prevention planning and implement the plan as part of an interprofessional team.
