As MAS in Finspångs Municipality, you will work at a strategic level and have overall responsibility for ensuring quality and patient safety within municipal health and medical care. As MAS, you hold a support function and work closely with the Medical Director for Rehabilitation and the Care and Services management team. Licensed health and medical care personnel are organized within the Care and Services sector, but the MAS role also includes responsibility within the Social Care sector where LSS activities are organized. Your future responsibilities We are looking for someone with drive and commitment who wants to work close to operations and has knowledge and interest in patient safety work. You will work closely with an engaged team consisting of operations managers and unit managers. You will be part of the regional network and collaborate internally and externally with other healthcare providers. Together with managers, you will drive development and serve as an advisory and support function for operations in matters relating to nursing care and health and medical care issues. Your role involves quality assuring operations to achieve good patient safety. You suggest improvement measures based on identified shortcomings and analyze patient safety work and draw conclusions that can be used in operations for continuous improvements. The Medical Director Nurse shall ensure that legislation and procedures are followed within the health and medical care field. Together with the Medical Director for Rehabilitation, you will prepare the patient safety report, manage deviations, and conduct investigations and reports according to Lex Maria. Your work includes, among other things, conducting ombudsman meetings, participating in quality councils, conducting pharmacy inspections, assisting in investigations and procurement processes. You will also be an important part in introducing new unit managers. Who are you? We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with appropriate further education, for example a district nurse. We see that you have many years of broad experience in health and medical care, and have good ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. It is meriting if you have worked within municipal health and medical care and have experience with quality, follow-up, and investigation work. As a person, you are independent and structured. You enjoy collaboration and see opportunities rather than obstacles. You can communicate pedagogically and have the ability to ensure that your message and expectations reach the relevant parties in a good way. You place the user and patient at the center and have patient safety in focus. You share your specialist knowledge to guide employees and managers in the organization.
