Do you want to work with us? Welcome to the Labor Market Unit (AME) in Finspång Municipality. We are now looking for a work leader for one of our operations, the Craft Workshop. At AME, we actively work to strengthen individuals who need various interventions and support in order to achieve/move toward self-sufficiency through work and/or studies. We work on assignment from Economic Assistance in Finspång Municipality. The work is conducted with a focus on personal development through step-by-step progression toward employment and self-sufficiency. The focus of the operation is to get individuals engaged in activities that are need-based and individually adapted. We place great emphasis on the social and motivational aspect together with practical tasks. For each individual, a plan is established. When appropriate experience and competence have been achieved, the individual is transferred toward the open labor market. The Craft Workshop performs various carpentry, painting, and craft assignments, assembly and disassembly, bulk waste collections, and moves, etc., on orders from other municipal operations. Your Future Responsibilities As a work leader for the Craft Workshop, you have overall responsibility for the operation, logistics, planning and management, and distribution of daily work. You are also responsible for ongoing customer contact with other municipal operations. As a work leader, you compile invoice documentation, calculate incoming work orders, and ensure they are completed. You also ensure work quality and that schedules are followed. The work leader prioritizes and delegates work to the supervisor and employees who have an internal labor market position. You will have internal occupational environment responsibility for your operation. As a work leader, you also conduct daily morning meetings. As a work leader, you will also need to participate with the craft group in carrying out assigned work. You support and motivate participants with practical guidance in the various work tasks. It is important that you guide and give instructions in a pedagogical manner adapted to the participants' needs. It is required that you are flexible and comfortable with shifting focus and that you can take own initiatives and make independent decisions. You are creative, engaged, and driven. You have good collaboration skills, as good teamwork is important for the operation's development and quality. At weekly method meetings with the entire work team, we support and strengthen each other in work methods and case management. Who Are You? We see that you have training/work experience in carpentry/crafts and/or property maintenance and are practically oriented. You have a desire to work with and support other people in gaining entry to or returning to working life. You have experience working with people with various disabilities and/or mental health issues and working with people in socially vulnerable situations. You have experience leading others and motivating change work. You have a natural ability to adapt your communication style based on the needs of the participants you meet. You have good pedagogical skills. You have experience handling documentation and following guidelines regarding this. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Working hours are Monday-Friday 7-16. A Class B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement. Experience driving with a trailer is a merit.
