The position is placed within the Culture and Recreation Administration, one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. We offer everyone who lives and works in Linköping Municipality a broad and varied range of cultural and recreational activities. Do you want to enrich everyday life and improve the quality of life for Linköping residents? With us, you can make an important difference and contribute to making Linköping a better place. Welcome to join us! Your Work Tasks Become a key player in our new technical team! Do you want to work with some of the region's most exciting and technically challenging properties? The Culture and Recreation Administration is now starting a new unit for technical facilities management in-house. We are seeking four skilled facilities technicians/operations technicians/operations engineers who, together with our new unit manager, will take full responsibility for the technical operations of the state-of-the-art Tinnerbäcks Swimming Pool, Saab Arena, and the facilities in the Stångebro area. If you are driven to solve complex problems, want clear ownership of your properties, and want to work in a team where we support each other – then we are looking for you! We are building a group where everyone has broad general competence in technical operations, but where each person contributes with unique specialized expertise. Together, you will ensure daily supervision, rounds, and troubleshooting. Since technical operations include a swimming facility for both competitive swimming and the general public with over half a million visitors per year, and an arena for ice hockey in SHL/SDHL and other public events, there will always be high pressure to ensure everything functions. This requires a proactive approach but also the ability to find quick solutions to problems that arise acutely, with good service spirit. The interaction with the facilities' operational management, which has daily customer contact, is therefore especially important. We are seeking you with specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Water Treatment Technology: You have specialist knowledge of complex water treatment systems, preferably for public swimming facilities and/or drinking water production, as well as good competence in heating and sanitation systems. Refrigeration Technology: You have specialist knowledge of refrigeration technology, preferably with experience of arena cooling systems and ice facilities, as well as good competence in heating and sanitation systems. Control and Regulation Technology: You have specialist knowledge in control and regulation technology, as well as an understanding of how ventilation, heating, and cooling systems interact in modern buildings. You have experience working with building automation systems and can analyze, adjust, and optimize control functions to ensure proper indoor climate and energy-efficient operations. Facilities Technology: You have broad technical competence in facilities management combined with good mechanical or engineering knowledge for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the building's technical installations and equipment. Ventilation Technology: You have specialist knowledge in ventilation technology, which encompasses installations, controls, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ventilation systems. Main Work Tasks Daily supervision, rounds, and optimization of facilities technical systems. Ongoing corrective maintenance and planned service in-house. Emergency on-call readiness for operational disruptions during facilities opening hours as well as during major events and elite matches. Coordination and management of external subcontractors for larger specialist work. Your Workplace The Culture and Recreation Administration with approximately 260 employees offers multifaceted cultural and youth activities. The administration faces new exciting challenges such as construction of new sports arenas, increased focus on public art, and development of creative meeting places. You will be part of the Sports and Outdoor Recreation Department, which currently consists of three units working with sports and outdoor development, facilities management, and association support. You will help create even better conditions for the general public and association activities in the municipality and thereby contribute to enabling more people to be active throughout their lives. You as an Applicant To thrive in the role, you are a person who takes great personal responsibility and enjoys providing high-quality service. You are a team player who is happy to share your knowledge and does not hesitate to help a colleague outside your own area of expertise when needed. Requirements for the Positions: Trained operations technician/facilities technician/operations engineer or equivalent technical vocational education or experience that we assess as equivalent. For the assignment where water treatment is included, swimming pool industry certification training or equivalent is required. Specialist competence in one or more of the areas of pool water treatment/drinking water production, refrigeration technology, heating and sanitation, ventilation, or control and regulation technology/building automation. Several years of documented experience within your area of expertise. At least one of the advertised positions requires electrical certification. Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing. Good computer skills. Category B driver's license. Meritorious for the Positions: Experience from operations of swimming halls and/or ice halls Experience working digitally with operations and fault reporting systems Experience with control systems, for example PLC, DUC, or BMS Knowledge of automatic doors, locks/alarms Knowledge of audio/visual systems Other Information When you apply for a position in Linköping Municipality, you register your application by logging in via e-identification (such as BankID or FrejaID) instead of an email address.
