We are looking for a driven and self-directed building technician to join our team. As a building technician with us, you will have an important role in the daily operations, maintenance, and development of our properties.
Responsibilities
Daily operations, supervision, and maintenance of properties
Troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems
Handling of maintenance requests
Preventive maintenance
Supervision of ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, and other technical systems
Work with health and safety and fire protection related matters
Maintenance of outdoor environments, such as grass cutting, weed removal, and basic landscaping and maintenance work
Responsibility for ensuring our outdoor environments are well-maintained and functional for operations and tenants
Contact with customers, tenants, and operations
Contact and coordination with subcontractors and contractors
Following up on ongoing work and various projects at our properties
Participating in and occasionally leading smaller projects and maintenance measures
Planning and implementing minor maintenance work
Managing and following up with subcontractors as needed
Documentation and reporting of completed work
We are looking for someone who
Has experience in building technology, operations, maintenance, or similar work
Is technically skilled and enjoys solving problems
Is self-directed and takes responsibility for your work tasks
Has good customer service skills and communicates easily with customers and colleagues
Is meticulous, organized, and solution-oriented
Enjoys work where tasks vary from technical operations to outdoor environments and projects
Works well collaborating with both colleagues and external contractors
Holds a valid driver's license
Additional qualifications of value include experience in ventilation, plumbing, electrical, control and automation systems, fire protection, or outdoor environments.
