We are seeking a capable, thorough, and ambitious property caretaker for our property portfolio in Malmköping.
You enjoy taking responsibility and are self-motivated, loyal, and long-term oriented. You should be social and have good communication skills with your colleagues and customers.
You are willing to learn new things, enjoy challenges, and have an interest in technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience and interest in the construction industry and property maintenance.
- Valid driver's license
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
Responsibilities
Your duties include daily rounds and responsibility for outdoor areas, playgrounds, parking lots, and common areas. General supervision and inspection, as well as identifying potential issues for tenants and ensuring appropriate action is taken. For example, ensuring that heating, ventilation, laundry rooms, booking systems, gates, doors, and other technical systems function properly, and contributing to cost-saving and environmentally friendly solutions. The work requires that you independently address maintenance requests and perform repairs in apartments such as carpentry, painting, troubleshooting, minor plumbing and electrical work, and appliance repairs. All incoming maintenance requests must be documented and followed up consistently with the administrative department through daily reports.
Priority is placed on maintenance work and prevention, so that acute problems do not arise. If major issues occur, contact the responsible staff at the office for further action by heating technicians, electricians, or other specialists.
