Job Duties
As a property maintenance technician, you work with the daily maintenance and upkeep of Timrå Municipality's properties and outdoor environments. The work is varied and largely independent, but you also collaborate with other maintenance technicians, property technicians, and other professional groups.
Your job duties include, among other things:
• Performing supervision, maintenance, and upkeep of properties
• Troubleshooting, addressing, and reporting errors and deficiencies
• Carrying out minor repairs and corrective maintenance
• Conducting snow removal, sanding, and gritting in winter, and maintenance of green areas and flower beds during the summer season
• Performing simple inspections, for example fire alarm tests
• Operating and maintaining work vehicles and tractors, and performing simple maintenance on these
In this role, you also maintain ongoing contact with tenants and staff in the municipality's operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has training in property maintenance or work experience that the employer considers equivalent. A valid B-class driving license is required for this position. You will operate the organization's vehicles during the workday. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
It is advantageous if you have experience with practical maintenance work, property maintenance, or work with outdoor environments. A BE-class driving license is also advantageous.
