We at the Technical Unit are now looking for a property manager with responsibility for premises coordination! The Technical Unit has a strong service focus towards both the municipality's residents and municipal operations. Job Responsibilities As a property manager with responsibility for premises coordination within the Technical Unit, you will have operational responsibility for Karlshamn Municipality's premises provision. You will be the central link between core operations and property owners. This means you will work closely with all managers within the unit as well as with the municipality's internal support functions and contracted entrepreneurs, ensuring that ongoing property maintenance, repair services, and contracted services function and are delivered according to contract. As a property manager, you will: Optimize premises utilization: Develop the use of the municipality's facilities based on the specific needs of operations. Secure contract management: Assume responsibility for economically and legally sound management and monitoring of external rental agreements. Plan long-term: Identify future premises needs in close collaboration with the organization's various operations. Lead premises adaptations: Project manage and implement renovations and adaptations based on operational needs. Protect the work environment: Ensure that physical safety and work environment issues are considered in premises adaptations. Collaborate with operations managers: Make adaptations and renovations in close consultation with those responsible in operations. Manage digital systems: Assume responsibility for the municipality's digital property management system and systematic documentation. Monitor maintenance status: Check and follow up on building condition and ongoing maintenance needs. Requirements for the Position: Education in property management, building technology, or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer. Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written. Good computer and system skills, particularly in the Office package. Class B driver's license. Meritorious for the Position: Experience working with premises provision, preferably within public or politically governed operations. Experience in rental law and rental negotiations. Experience with property-related investigations. Experience with digital property management systems, preferably Momentum Property. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You also have an interest in digital property management systems and systematic maintenance planning. About the Workplace The Technical Unit consists of 25 employees with expertise in property, construction, energy, fire safety, locks, alarms, land, roads, traffic, parks, forests, nature, marine environments, digital management systems, project management, land development and utilization, and environmental and sustainability issues. The unit is part of the Municipal Executive Administration and collaborates specifically with the administration's units for operations and maintenance. An important part of the unit's mission is to preserve and develop municipal assets within the operational area.
