Real Estate Economist Wanted Would you like to combine economics, real estate, and business development? We are now looking for an engaged and analytical real estate economist who wants to be part of developing our real estate portfolio and contribute to long-term profitable operations. About the Role As a real estate economist, you will have a central role in managing the economics and profitability of our properties. You will be responsible for financial monitoring and analysis and serve as an important support for property management and leadership. Your main responsibilities include: Budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring of properties Analysis of revenues, costs, operating net income, and profitability Reporting and preparation of decision-making materials Rent and contract monitoring Analysis of investments and maintenance measures Ongoing communication with property managers, tenants, and other partners Participation in development and optimization of financial processes Contribution of financial analyses for investments and property-related decisions What We're Looking For We believe you are analytical, structured, and business-minded with a genuine interest in real estate. You are comfortable taking personal responsibility while also appreciating collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the organization. We would like to see that you have: Post-secondary education in economics, real estate economics, or equivalent Several years of experience in financial work, preferably in the real estate industry Strong understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis Solid Excel skills and experience working with financial systems Ability to communicate financial matters clearly and pedagogically Excellent Swedish, both spoken and written Experience with real estate systems, rent administration, or investment calculations is a plus.
