In our adaptation for the future of social services, we have divided our operations into first and second line social services, where prevention and support is one of four areas within IFO. Our area consists of units within reception, family law, relationship violence teams, prevention and assistance-assessed interventions, as well as administrative tasks and other support functions. The Open Care for Children unit carries out assistance-assessed interventions in the form of family treatment, youth treatment workers, RePulse, intensive family treatment, and more. The unit consists of three teams: a family treatment team, a youth treatment team, and an intensive family treatment team, all working to ensure that children and young people grow up in good living conditions. Open care is facing an exciting development where interventions are shaped in close collaboration with other key actors in the field, continuously developing and adapting to the needs we encounter among children and young people to offer the best support. Based on this, we are now launching a new initiative with a newly established position where we are expanding our intensive family treatment team with 2 family pedagogues. The goal of this position is to offer practical support in the home to families struggling with maintaining structure at home, thereby improving the living situation of children and young people and helping families become self-sufficient in the long term. Your Assignment As a family pedagogue, you work to build relationships with the families you meet through trust and confidence, creating conditions for change. Family pedagogical support is provided on assignment from investigating social workers with defined goals for change. The work is conducted with families who often have complex issues and takes place in environments deemed most appropriate, which is usually in the home or other settings where we are needed. The work may involve offering families practical support at home, helping establish structure in daily life such as routines, support with childcare contacts, stimulation and activities in everyday life, etc. As our new colleague, you feel both enthusiasm and inspiration to participate in the ongoing development of our work with families and their networks. You develop an implementation plan for the assignment and work based on evidence and knowledge-based methods, systematic approaches, and other methods adapted to families' needs. Collaboration is an important part of the assignment, as there is often a need for interventions from and coordination with several different actors. Involving the family's network is a natural part of your work to increase children's security and create conditions for support to families over time. Your Qualifications Social worker, social pedagogue, or equivalent education as assessed by the employer At least 3 years of experience working with family pedagogical support Knowledge of BBIC Driver's license Meritorious: Familiarity with Signs of Safety Knowledge of or experience in government authority work with children and youth Who Are You?
