About the Operation
As part of the Primary Care Area South, Health Center Centrum is located just a stone's throw from Sundsvall's city center yet in a lush, green setting. Your future colleagues consist of family and training physicians, district and nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and a psychosocial team comprising social workers, psychiatric nurses, and a psychologist. As a specialist in general medicine, you will work with standard primary care tasks and are an important part of our medical expertise. Beyond clinical work, you will have special responsibility for mentoring and training AT, BT, and ST physicians. You contribute to their professional development through structured mentoring, feedback, and support in their daily clinical work. You will also have a central role in the operation's continued development. We work interprofessionally and view collaboration between different professional groups as a prerequisite for creating modern, sustainable, and patient-centered care. Together with colleagues from different professions, you participate in and drive development work with a focus on quality, accessibility, patient safety, and a good work environment.
We are now recruiting two Specialist Physicians in General Medicine for Health Center Centrum. These are permanent full-time positions with start date by agreement.
Responsibilities
Clinic work and medical assessments in primary care.
Mentoring and support for AT, BT, and ST physicians.
Planning and implementation of training initiatives.
Contributing to a learning and developing work environment.
Active participation in quality and improvement work.
Participating in and leading development projects together with different professions.
Contributing to the development of new working methods and processes that strengthen patient benefit.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop the quality and accessibility of care.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Is a specialist physician in general medicine
Has mentor training
Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Holds a valid driver's license (Category B)
