We are looking for a Family Foster Care Secretary for the Assignment Provider Unit
As a Family Foster Care Secretary in the Children and Youth Department, you will have a meaningful and developmental position where you contribute to creating safe and sustainable living conditions for children and young people.
With us, you work closely with our assignment providers and offer support that makes a real difference for children, young people, and families.
The Assignment Provider Unit is responsible for recruitment, assessment, training, supervision, and follow-up of emergency homes, foster families, network homes, contact families, contact persons, mentor families, and custody homes.
We also work with quality assurance of assignments, contract and compensation matters, as well as long-term support for our assignment providers.
We are in an exciting development phase where we continuously develop our working methods to meet future needs. The content of this position may therefore change and develop over time based on the needs of the operation and the unit's continued development work.

As a Family Foster Care Secretary with us, you will have an important role in developing the recruitment of new emergency and foster homes together with engaged colleagues. You work both strategically and operationally to reach new assignment providers, while also providing support, supervision, training, and maintaining close collaboration with our existing assignment providers.
We work with participation, experience sharing, and quality in a respectful manner both within and outside the unit and toward our assignment providers.
The unit consists of 22 employees. We work in an open office landscape.
We assess assignment providers using the assessment model "A Lasting Relationship." The Children and Youth Department uses the case management system Combine and works with the Signs of Safety method. Some evening and weekend work occurs.
Who are you?
With us, you represent the Social Services' Children and Youth Department in relation to assignment providers, clients, citizens, and collaboration partners. Therefore, you possess broad knowledge of the Social Services' regulatory authority and services and can make independent assessments in cases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work (Socionom)
- Experience with regulatory authority work
- Category B Driver's License
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
Meritorious:
- Experience working with foster care and recruitment of emergency, contact, or foster homes
- Experience working in Combine
Personal Qualities:
- You have strong commitment to social work
- You possess good social skills and can collaborate internally and externally
- You have good communication and provide excellent service to clients, colleagues, and collaboration partners
