Ref: 20262057 Since September 2025, Umgåsen has been running the project "Contact Person in Visits," a three-year development initiative aimed at creating an accessible and clear intervention for children's visits through contact persons assigned by social services. The project is staffed by two family care secretaries working closely with a section manager. As one of our employees will be on parental leave, we are now seeking a new colleague for the team. The project aims to: Relieve the foster care and investigation sections Increase case throughput at Umgåsen Provide contact persons with better support and guidance in their role Broaden the range of services for children and families in Malmö Responsibilities As a family care secretary in the Contact Person in Visits project, you will be responsible for: Recruiting, investigating, and coaching contact persons who work with children's visits Providing individual and group coaching to contact persons Following up and documenting in the child's file Contributing to the development of procedures, quality, and working methods within the project Working closely with your colleague, the section manager, and other colleagues within Umgåsen's operations Collaborating with the child's social worker, foster family, and parents Presenting and informing about the project both within Malmö and to external stakeholders What We Offer At Umgåsen, you will have the opportunity to be part of a small and dedicated team where your contribution makes a difference and where we work with a focus on the child's best interests. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in Social Work, experience with investigation work in social services, and at least one year of experience in social work with families with children aged 1–12 years. Meritorious: Experience with visit support Experience supporting, guiding, and coaching contractors or others in work-related situations Experience investigating and/or coaching contact persons Experience working with documentation in Lifecare Experience working in project form To thrive at Umgåsen, we want you to have experience working in a team, good collaboration skills, and a responsive approach to your colleagues. You adapt well to changing circumstances at work and have the ability to adjust to situations as needed. You are also comfortable speaking to groups and have a commitment to children's needs and their right to secure relationships. About the Workplace Umgåsen is part of the IFO Services division and is part of Malmö's support for children and parents in cases of separation or placement. Here, safe and child-appropriate forms of visits are offered—either at our visit facility or at other locations such as the home or public spaces. The operation works on behalf of social services and aims to create safety, continuity, and structure in children's visits with their parents or other relatives.
