We are now seeking an engaged and competent Family Home Consultant who wants to join our well-established team. For the right person, the placement location is primarily Malmö and surrounding area, but we are also open to other parts of southwestern Sweden depending on your base and circumstances.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be a key person on our team and a trusted partner for our foster families. You will drive the process forward with great commitment and will be responsible for:
The entire matching process: You conduct initial meetings and visits with prospective foster families and carry out thorough family home assessments.
Training and inspiration: You plan and deliver valued training initiatives for both foster families and social services.
Ongoing supervision: You coach and support your foster families during placements to ensure stability and security.
Strong collaboration: You build good relationships with social services, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, child and adolescent psychiatric services, and schools to achieve the client's individual goals.
Quality and structure: You handle documentation in Rätt Spår, implementation plans, and quality work with ease and high professionalism.
Flexible support: You participate in on-call duty according to schedule and carry out individualized support and treatment interventions as needed.
The Profile We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who is a trustworthy and relationship-building professional with strong drive. To become our new colleague, we see that you have:
Relevant experience and network: You have previously worked with foster care and already have an established, valuable network in the region.
Formal qualifications: You have a degree in social work (or equivalent), supervisor training, and training in Kälvesten, A Lasting Relationship, or equivalent assessment methodology.
Relationship focus: You have excellent interpersonal skills, quickly build trust, and place great value on quality in every individual intervention.
Collaboration: You love working independently and taking your own initiative, but see it as a given that you succeed together with your team.
