The Family Foster Care Unit's mission is to ensure that children and young people placed outside their homes have their needs met so they can grow and develop. We work with a focus on the child, their situation and needs, while simultaneously offering care and support to foster parents and the child's network. At our family foster care unit, no one stands alone, and together we can make a significant difference for some of society's most vulnerable. Job Responsibilities - Assess and supervise our foster families. - Conduct training such as "A Home to Grow In" - Handle costs and payments to our foster parents - Manage ongoing documentation regarding our foster parents - Participate in the development and implementation of care and management plans - Participate in various meetings involving the child, such as visitation and school meetings - Collaborate with child case workers, school family coordinators, colleagues, team leaders, unit managers and other stakeholders What We Offer - A workplace where you as an employee are valued and where your work makes a difference - Opportunities for personal and professional development - A structured support system, with close access to competent colleagues and management. - The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious - As an employee you receive a wellness allowance of 3000 kronor per year and other benefits in our benefits portal Qualifications To succeed in this role, we see that you: - Hold a degree in social work and have at least two years of experience in social work - Possess experience in government administration and have good knowledge of legislation regarding placed children - Have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as strong documentation skills - Hold a category B driver's license and have driving experience - It is also meritorious if you have experience in family foster care, have worked with Signs of Safety, BBiC and the documentation system Life Care Personal qualities that are highly valued are: Personal maturity, confidence, stability and self-insight. The ability to work independently, drive processes and take responsibility. Create and maintain relationships with placed children, biological parents, foster families and other important adults in the child's life.
