The resource units for children, youth, and family work closely together and we share knowledge and methods with each other. We have the courage to try new things. You will work with children, youth, and families aged 0-19 years together with committed colleagues, present team leaders, and unit managers. The units still work with different target groups, children and youth respectively, but collaboration is one of our keywords. WORK TASKS
As a family treatment specialist, you are a driving force in change work. You meet families where it suits them best. This could be in their home, at school, or in other everyday-close environments just as often as in the consultation room. You work systemically, relationship-building, and solution-focused with the goal of creating sustainable change.
We work from a systemic approach where the child's or young person's needs are always at the center. You strengthen protective factors, reduce risks, and work to enable children and youth to remain at home. You plan, implement, and coordinate interventions together with the family and their network. You document your work continuously.
Your working hours are planned by you together with the families. Your working time can look different as it is based on families' needs and wishes. Usually they vary between 7:30 AM-7:00 PM, with flextime.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a B driver's license and are a social worker, behavioral scientist, or have other higher education that we deem equivalent. You have experience in qualified psychosocial change work with children, youth, and families facing complex challenges. We use various evidence-based conversation methods and family treatment interventions; if you have experience with any of them, that is an advantage.
As a person, you are genuinely committed and confident in social work and your role as a family treatment specialist. You guide families through change and have patience and understanding that change often takes time. Through good self-awareness and curiosity, you are open to developing yourself in your professional role. From experience, you know that a key to success lies in creating alignment and having good collaborations. You are experienced in working both independently and in a team. If you are development-oriented and want to test new working methods, you will thrive with us. You contribute energy, reflection, and have the courage to try new paths together with us.
A valid police clearance certificate must be provided before any employment.
