Field Mechanic Backup Power

We are now seeking a service technician for a leading player in backup power and generators. You will be employed by us and work as a consultant for our client.
Here you'll have a varied role where you work with service, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment that ensures power supply for industries, construction sites, and critical infrastructure.
About the Role
As a service technician, you will work with:
Service and maintenance of backup power systems and generators.
Troubleshooting diesel engines, control systems, cooling systems, and fuel systems.
Repairs, component replacements, and mechanical maintenance.
Commissioning, functional testing, and test runs.
Emergency service operations for breakdowns and fault reports.
The work is performed both in the workshop and at customer sites. Travel and overnight stays may occur when the assignment requires it.
The role offers great variety where no two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced technical equipment and develop your expertise in backup power and engine-driven systems.
We Are Looking for You If You
Have experience as a mechanic, service technician, or similar technical role.
Have a strong interest in engines, technology, and troubleshooting.
Work well independently and take responsibility for your assignments.
Are solution-oriented, thorough, and service-focused.
Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
Meritorious
Experience with diesel engines, construction machinery, trucks, or other engine-driven equipment.
Knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, or electromechanics.
Experience with generators or backup power systems.
Experience from the rental industry, for example, work with service and maintenance of machinery for the construction and industrial sectors.
