POSITION CHARACTERISTICS: Preparation and implementation of your own research or art-research project, involvement in existing or planned grant projects, international cooperation and research activities of the faculty, collaboration on grant application preparation, publishing activities in peer-reviewed and impact-rated journals or exhibition activities, active participation in international conferences, active collaboration on professional events, exhibitions, workshops or conferences organized by the faculty, contribution to the development of the research environment at FUA TUL. EDUCATION AND SKILLS: Completed master's degree in architecture, urbanism, art or related fields, completed doctoral studies (Ph.D. or equivalent) in architecture, urbanism, art or related fields, where the time elapsed since completion of doctoral studies is no longer than 5 years, professional specialization relevant to the position and in line with the Science and Research Strategy of the Faculty of Art and Architecture 2023-2030, foreign professional experience or doctoral studies abroad, active research, publishing or artistic activities, ability to work independently and in team collaboration, very good knowledge of English enabling publishing activities and conference presentations, for foreign applicants we require knowledge of Czech language at level B2, does not apply to citizens of Slovakia, motivation to contribute to the development of the research environment at the faculty. Advantages: experience with international projects, grant experience, interdisciplinary approach, experience with exhibition and curatorial activities, experience with experimental research methods or artistic research. EMPLOYMENT: 50% position with possibility of increase depending on project involvement, employment contract will be concluded for a fixed term of two years with possibility of extension. START DATE: January 2027/by agreement. SALARY CLASSIFICATION: salary grade C2, expected monthly salary after successful adaptation: 20,000 Kč, possibility of project bonus depending on project involvement.
