On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an interim Facility Manager for Gothenburg. This is a full-time position expected to start October 1, 2026 and run through March 31, 2027.
About the Assignment
The role is responsible for developing and optimizing the organization's facilities with a focus on efficient operations, cost control, and a well-functioning work environment. You will serve as a central point of contact for facility-related matters, contracts, landlords, and workplace development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage facility and property-related contracts and lead negotiations, terminations, and contract changes.
Manage relationships and contact with landlords and other external parties.
Monitor and optimize facility utilization with focus on work environment, efficiency, and costs.
Lead improvement and change projects, such as office adaptations and relocations.
Manage and track assets such as furniture and equipment.
Participate in safety rounds and ensure compliance with relevant requirements and guidelines.
Support the organization's insurance portfolio management.

About You
We are looking for candidates who meet the following mandatory requirements:
8–12+ years of experience in Facility Management, engineering, business administration, or related field.
Experience working in R&D and Design environments.
Experience with budget responsibility and cost management.
Experience with negotiation and contract management.
Strong proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint. Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not required.
