We are seeking experienced engineers who want to take significant ownership in the intersection of industrialization, production, quality, and material flows. ABOUT THE ROLE In this assignment, you will become an important part of building up and further developing the production of complex aerospace systems within the defense industry. The work spans several parts of the industrialization chain, from review and adaptation of design documentation to production preparation, assembly, production quality, and material logistics. We are seeking several people and the role can therefore be shaped according to your experience. For example, you could focus on industrialization and design documentation, production development and assembly, production quality, or operational technical project management. What is common is that you work close to operations, take ownership of your areas, and collaborate closely with design, production, quality, procurement, and logistics. These are long-term and complex development projects where solutions need to work in practice over time. You are therefore expected to be able to switch between creating structure and driving progress, and diving into details in systems, drawings, production documentation, and deviations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Convert design and engineering documentation into robust and feasible production solutions. Plan, drive, and follow up industrialization activities from early phases to established production. Investigate technical and production-related issues by working practically with relevant systems and documentation. Coordinate activities and create momentum between design, production, quality, projects, procurement, and material logistics. Contribute to efficient material flows so that the right components and conditions are in the right place at the right time. Participate in developing working methods, processes, and structures within a long-term production program. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO Have a college or master's degree in engineering such as mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial economics, quality, or equivalent. Have experience in industrialization, production engineering, manufacturing, production quality, or technical project management in a complex production environment. Have experience reading, interpreting, and working with technical drawings, design documentation, and production documentation. Thrive in an operational role where you both drive your own tasks and actively work with analyses, documentation, systems, and problem-solving. Communicate fluently in Swedish and English since both languages are used in documentation and cross-functional collaboration. It is an advantage if you have: Experience from the aerospace industry, defense industry, automotive industry, railway industry, or other safety-critical and regulated operations. Worked with production preparation, assembly flows, tooling, electrical or mechanical integration, structures, or material logistics. Experience with PLM, ERP, CAD, quality, or deviation management systems. Led cross-functional improvement or industrialization projects with many technical touchpoints. ABOUT THE POSITION This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client. The position may be subject to security clearance requirements in accordance with applicable security protection regulations.
