Job Description
This recruitment is conducted in collaboration with NearYou staffing, which is responsible for selection and the initial recruitment process. The position is a direct employment with Momec AB with work scheduled during daytime hours.
Momec AB is in a strong growth phase and is now seeking an experienced edge banding machine operator who wants to contribute to developing the business.
We're looking for someone with solid experience in edge banding who, either immediately or in due course, wants to take on overall responsibility for the development of the edge banding department. The role suits you if you're confident in your professional skills, have a strong technical interest, and enjoy taking initiative. You want to contribute to improving working methods, quality, and efficiency while being a natural support to your colleagues.
As an edge banding machine operator, you work with the manufacturing of specially customized products in small series as well as contract-manufactured sheet metal parts. You are responsible for the entire process, from programming and setup to finished product.
With a focus on quality, precision, and efficient production flow.
In this role, you will, among other things:
*Program, set up, and operate edge banding machines.
*Edge band thin sheet metal parts with high demands for precision and quality.
*Read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
*Develop prototypes and ensure that products meet established quality requirements.
*Ensure quality, productivity, and efficiency in daily production.
*Contribute to the development of the edge banding department's working methods and serve as support and sounding board for colleagues.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
*Solid and documented experience in edge banding thin sheet metal.
*Good knowledge of programming, setting up, and operating various machines.
*Good ability to interpret and follow drawings carefully.
*A strong technical interest, are curious, and enjoy taking on challenges.
*Master the Swedish language well and are good at communicating with others.
Meritorious:
*Previous experience leading, coordinating, or supporting colleagues.
*Experience working in Monitor or similar business systems.
