Kumpans are consultants with community
Our gathering place is our office at Mosebacke. We meet here a few days a week, put our heads together, and solve our clients' problems collaboratively.
Lunches, spontaneous tech discussions, and sometimes a coffee – or a beer – as the afternoon rolls on are part of daily life. Board game and D&D nights happen from time to time too. In short: we like spending time together, not just working.
Who we think you are
You're probably a curious developer who loves learning new things and diving deep into technology. You thrive in environments where knowledge is shared, architecture is discussed, and technical choices are made pragmatically and professionally.
You enjoy the consultant role and appreciate the variety of different assignments, teams, and technical challenges.
What you need to know when you start with us
We're looking for someone with a strong technical background who feels at home in modern development environments. To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
At least seven years of Java development experience and solid proficiency with relevant development tools
Experience with Spring Boot and development of modern backend services and APIs
Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe
Experience developing and documenting REST APIs with tools like Swagger or OpenAPI
Experience with container-based environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Very strong ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written
It's a plus if you also have
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
Experience with container-based platforms, such as OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based environments
Experience with modern frontend frameworks, such as Angular.JS, React.JS, or Vue.JS
Experience with AI solutions in practice, for example working with embeddings, RAG architecture, vector databases, or AI-driven features in systems

We're a web and consulting firm that has existed since 2004. We develop websites and apps in an open source environment and work with clients across many different industries and technical environments.
