With us, you are part of a team that works from the concept stage through project completion and finished installations in the industrial sector. We work together, enjoy learning from each other, and come up with interesting solutions. We drive advanced electrical power projects for our external clients, ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to vehicle development/manufacturing to complex installations in hospitals. We also support various divisions within AFRY with our specialized electrical power expertise. This means we are present across AFRY's entire customer base, which is incredibly exciting. In the role of Electrical Power Engineer, you will have an important role in our organization and our electrical power projects. You will work with our customers throughout the region, as well as be part of in-house projects. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to work with: Development of specifications for low and medium voltage switchgear. Investigations and feasibility studies. Technical consulting. Network calculations and selective plans. You will also have the opportunity to act as project manager, which involves direct customer and budget responsibility in projects. There are also good opportunities to work in other electrical power-related areas such as relay testing, measurement, and power quality analysis, as well as inspection. Mandatory Requirements Post-secondary education in electrical power engineering Several years of work experience in electrical power, preferably with prior experience as a designer or project manager. Driver's license category B. Very good command of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as communication with customers and colleagues is a natural part of the work. Meritorious Experience with contract law, AMA, and AutoCAD, as well as familiarity with technical documentation and report writing. Worked with calculation software Febdok or other network calculation programs Practical experience working as a service/industrial electrician Since our services may operate in security-classified areas, drug testing and security vetting may be required before employment can begin.
