Then this could be the right opportunity for you. We are now seeking a CNC operator for an established industrial company in Skövde. Here you will work in a modern workshop with advanced 5-axis machining, varied work tasks, and great opportunity to influence your daily work. This is a recruitment hire, which means you begin your employment as a consultant with us but will then be hired directly by the company. About the Role As a CNC operator, you will work with the manufacture of complex tools and molds, primarily in aluminum. Unlike traditional series production, this work involves one-off manufacturing, where each project has its own conditions and technical challenges. You will work closely with both design and production, taking over documentation from designers and being responsible for CAM preparation as well as machining in the company's 5-axis machines. The role suits you if you have a genuine interest in technology and appreciate precision, problem-solving, and varied work days. The work is scheduled for 2-shift operations. But with the possibility to work daytime if that suits you better. Work Tasks You will, among other things: Perform CAM preparation based on drawings and CAD documentation Program and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines Machine and finish advanced tools and molds Ensure quality and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process Participate in assembly, post-processing, and fine-tuning of parts as needed Contribute to continuous improvements of work methods and processes Qualifications We are looking for you who: Have experience with CAM preparation Have experience with 5-axis CNC milling Have previous practical experience from manufacturing industry Can read and work from drawings and technical documentation Have a strong technical interest and enjoy solving practical problems Speak and understand Swedish Meriting Factors Experience as a toolmaker Experience from model workshops or prototype manufacturing Experience with manufacturing of mold tools Knowledge of advanced CNC machining of aluminum Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious.
