About the position As a construction contract engineer, you will be an important support to the site manager. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously and be involved in the entire process from customer contact, estimation work, production, and through to completion. You will work with, among other things, planning the construction project, purchasing materials, budget monitoring, and contract administration. The role may also include preparing bid estimates, production estimates, change orders, and additional work. As a construction contract engineer, you work closely with the project's site manager, project manager, and work supervisors. Beyond this, you have considerable customer and supplier contacts. We would prefer that you have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent construction technical education. You are business-minded and understand all parts of the process such as bids, design, financial monitoring, and production methods. As a person, you are structured and like order and organization. You are accustomed to and can handle many things in parallel. You thrive with extensive contact, are relationship-building, and see the importance of building and maintaining good relationships both internally and externally. Access to a B-driver's license and a car is a requirement as the construction contract engineer works from our production sites.
