Do you have project management experience and a solid understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting regularly receives requests from our clients for skilled and experienced project managers.
We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with inquiries from our clients and project owners. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at client sites.
The Assignment
The role of project manager involves overall responsibility for planning and leading the work and preparing decisions for the project owner regarding timeline, budget, and quality. Work tasks include developing project plans, convening and leading project meetings, anchoring and communicating decisions and information throughout the organization, and procurement of resources. Other responsibilities include compiling tender documentation, negotiating with parties, managing environmental and occupational health matters, and reporting to the project owner. You will also be responsible for contacts with authorities, clients, and suppliers.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following experience:
Strong knowledge of civil works and infrastructure processes with documented experience in planning, design management, cost tracking, forecasting, procurement regulations, procurement, and production.
You should have worked as a project manager, design manager, and/or construction manager in civil works and infrastructure for at least 5 years, preferably more.
You hold qualifications as a work environment coordinator, BAS-P, and BAS-U.
You have good knowledge of contract and consulting law, AB04/ABT06, as well as AMA and MER standards for infrastructure.
It is a major plus if you have experience with concrete, preferably concrete class 1, ideally class 2. Experience from water and sewage projects is also valued.
You have a civil or technical engineering degree or equivalent construction-related education, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive professional experience.
