Do you have experience managing large industrial construction projects and a solid understanding of regulations and government requirements? Entrecon Consulting regularly receives inquiries from our clients for skilled and experienced project managers.
The Assignment
Assignments will involve new construction, renovations, and expansions of industrial facilities. As project manager, you will independently lead and take responsibility for the current construction project.
The project manager role entails complete responsibility for each construction project, where the project manager shall:
- lead project stakeholders
- negotiate land purchases
- drive detailed planning work
- procure consultants and contractors
- oversee design documentation
- supervise contractor execution
- establish and reconcile production budgets
- monitor and report on project progress
The project manager has explicit profit responsibility and serves as client and principal representative at construction meetings, design meetings, development meetings, meetings with authorities, etc.
Competencies
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-focused, and market-oriented project manager with several years of professional experience from industrial projects. We see an advantage if you hold an academic degree, preferably in construction or equivalent.
You have experience from the contracting side where you have worked on both new construction and renovation projects, from concept and land acquisition to handover.
The role requires strong knowledge of planning, design, and project management with management and project control, cost monitoring, budget and forecast work, as well as production. Knowledge of construction law is highly desirable and you should have qualifications as a work environment coordinator BAS P and BAS U.
We believe you are well-established in the industry with a developed network, customer and market-oriented with strong drive. Furthermore, you are expected to be a pronounced team player, proactive with the ability to efficiently execute and complete initiated projects. Being structured, responsible, analytical, and quick to prioritize are qualities we believe are important for succeeding in this role.
