Are you a communicative person with previous experience being a key connector in civil and construction projects? Entrecon Consulting has several inquiries from our customers for senior and experienced project engineers/construction engineers in civil and construction. We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our customers and clients. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the customer's location. The Assignment In the role of Project Engineer/Construction Engineer, you are a key person in projects and contribute to ensuring smooth production alongside the project manager and site manager as well as support functions. You will work broadly and are responsible for, among other things, production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in procurement, attend construction meetings, and have contact with the client's representatives and handle financial settlements with the client and subcontractors. You negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, manage procurements, develop cost estimates, and are responsible for contract documentation. In some cases, change management tasks are also included. Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in: Forecasting and budgeting Project economics, schedules Resource allocation, procurement, and change order handling Change management work You have post-secondary education in construction or have acquired these skills through work experience.
