With knowledge, courage and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's everyday life!
The Municipal Services Department has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate and develop services for residents and administrations in Mölndal's Municipality. The department has approximately 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and property maintenance, water and recycling, municipal maintenance, and staff and customer services.
The Municipal Services Department is in an exciting development phase. We work to create efficient, sustainable and modern service solutions and are now seeking a unit manager who wants to lead and develop our unit for operations development and digitalization.

As a manager, you create trust and clarity, give employees the mandate and space to use their expertise and follow up that the unit's work contributes to the department's goals.
You are responsible for creating direction and priorities for the unit's work and for ensuring that development initiatives are converted into concrete operational benefits. You need to be able to move between the strategic and the operational. One moment you are discussing long-term development, priorities and choices in a management group, the next moment you need to together with employees and operations understand a concrete need and find the way forward.
Since the unit's mission is based on collaboration, you need to create good relationships and trust, both within your own unit and with operations and collaboration partners. You bring together different perspectives, challenge when needed and create conditions for people to work together towards common goals.
