The Care and Social Services Administration provides service, support, care, and assistance to seniors and people with disabilities, and is responsible for statutory authority under applicable legislation. The administration conducts operations within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, health and medical care, family support, and statutory authority. All work is performed with residents at the center, based on our core values: respectful treatment, participation, trust, and security. Sigtuna Municipality operates four assisted living facilities in-house: Arhem, Hemskogen, Ymer, and Ärlinghem. Our facilities are located in both Märsta and Sigtuna city and offer specially adapted environments and activities based on residents' needs and interests. 1 position(s). As a unit manager, you are responsible for the operational management of your units, and you also share responsibility for one of our facilities together with another unit manager. This collaboration gives you the opportunity to leverage each other's strengths and experiences to create an even better operation. You have personnel responsibility and responsibility for care matters in consultation with nursing staff and health and medical care personnel. Your direct supervisor is the area manager, and together with the other unit managers in the municipality, you are part of the elderly care management group. Your area of responsibility includes, among other things: • Systematic quality work. • Budget responsibility. • Recruitment of care personnel. • Competence planning. • Salary, health, and rehabilitation discussions. • Move-in and move-out processes. • Contact with relatives. • Incident management. • Invoice handling. • Accident and conflict management. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • University education of at least 180 hp (degree in care and social services is a merit). • Experience in a managerial role with personnel, budget, and operational responsibility. • Documented experience from elderly care. • Category B driver's license. • Good ability to cooperate with different professions, units, and external actors to create a cohesive care chain. • Knowledge of laws and guidelines governing care and social services, such as the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL). • Documentation experience and good Swedish, spoken and written. Meritorious experience: • Basic knowledge of welfare technology, such as digital tools for care and social services. • Experience in dementia care. • Experience from a politically governed organization. • Leadership training. You are a confident and clear leader with the ability to maintain direction and commitment even in challenging situations. You value well-functioning collaboration, are used to working across boundaries, and have an unpretentious focus on shared goals. You organize and plan your work well and can switch between daily operations and long-term development. You have good problem-solving ability and can act when unexpected situations arise.
