Job Responsibilities As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, budget, and operations within your units. You lead and follow up on work to implement decisions according to LSS and ensure that services are delivered lawfully, professionally, and with high quality. Your role includes ongoing contact with service users and their families, where you play an important part in creating security, participation, and continuity. You report to the department manager and are part of the department's management team, where you are expected to contribute to strategic management, planning, and development of the entire department. Together with colleagues and staff, you actively work on improvement initiatives and quality assurance to create a modern, sustainable, and lawful social service. Qualifications We are looking for someone with relevant higher education and experience working within LSS or the disability sector. Experience in management positions within LSS operations and good knowledge of current legislation are considered merits. You have the ability to handle complex situations and dare to make well-founded and courageous decisions with the best interests of the operation in focus. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have a talent for creating engagement and participation among your employees. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and adapt your message to the recipient and situation. In your role as a manager, leadership, clarity, and holistic perspective are key competencies for success. For this position, a B driver's license and access to your own car are required.
