We at People by M are proud to recruit a unit manager for Leva LSS and their new residential facilities for children and young people. About the role Leva LSS is looking for you to help build, shape and develop LSS group homes from the ground up. Your assignment As a unit manager, you are responsible for two residential facilities according to LSS 9:8. The operations are acquired, which means there is a foundation to build on but with a clear mandate to develop, strengthen and shape the organization forward. The residential facilities are located in Bålsta and Litslena (outside Enköping). Bålsta: 9 places Litslena: 4 places (after renovation is completed in September) In this role you will: - Recruit, lead and develop your team - Ensure quality, structure and a good working environment - Develop routines and working methods based on the target group of children and young people - Create a safe, predictable and developmental environment for the residents - Be part of the management team together with the CEO, quality manager, regional managers and other unit managers We are looking for you who have: Requirements: - Social work degree or equivalent education - Several years of experience working within LSS - Experience with the target group of children and young people with disabilities - At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role (preferably 3–5 years) - Experience of operating a facility approved by IVO - B driver's license - Good knowledge of SoL and HSL Meritorious: - Experience of starting and building up an operation from scratch Who are you? - You are a confident and driven leader who is motivated by building something long-term and sustainable. - You thrive in a role where you can combine operational presence with strategic development work. - You have a strong commitment to the target group and always prioritize the individual's wellbeing and development - You are present in the operation and create security for both employees and residents - You are structured and have a good understanding of finance and quality work - You communicate clearly and build good relationships with residents, relatives, employees and partners - You thrive in a role with great personal responsibility and mandate Why you should choose Leva LSS At Leva LSS you get the opportunity to be involved from the beginning in an operation with a clear set of values.
